To All JA Flight Training Members:
As part of JA Flight Training’ growth and development, you are a contributor to, and a part of, our company’s “Sustainable Culture of Safety” —a phrase that was crafted to describe what we believe to be the very essence of why we work so hard to be the very best at what we do. It goes without saying, but always bears repeating, that safety — the caring for, protection of, and security of our clients, team members, and anyone with whom we interface during our service — is the single most important service we provide.
JA Flight Training is committed to the provision of all appropriate resources to ensure an organizational culture that fosters safe, high quality practices that provide for and create a healthy workplace for our team members and our clients. Our goal is to exceed all flight, occupational and environmental safety and quality standards, bar none. As members of the JA Flight Training community, we share the responsibility of maintaining our Sustainable Culture of Safety through adherence to the procedures, manuals and guidelines we have developed, as well as those established by local, state and federal regulatory agencies. The management team at JA Flight Training is responsible for ensuring that every team-member comprehends and supports the Sustainable Culture of Safety. The management team is also responsible for ensuring that each and every team-member has the required training and equipment to recognize, understand and control the hazards of their workplace environment and that of the team. Accordingly, each team-member is expected to uphold these principles and act accordingly with respect to safety. Adherence to the company's
accepted policies and procedures is in no uncertain terms a condition of employment at JA Flight Training. The management team is committed to a Just Culture and as such, every team- member has the right and responsibility to report, free of reprisal, any information or condition that they believe may adversely affect the safety of any individual. The management team will not take any disciplinary action against an employee, who in good faith, discloses a safety concern, unless such disclosure indicates, beyond any reasonable doubt, gross negligence or a deliberate or willful disregard of regulations or procedures.
Only through the personal commitment of each and every team-member will JA Flight Training be successful in providing our clients and
team-members with the highest possible level of safety in every facet of our operation. Thank you for your support and commitment to upholding and
maintaining our Sustainable Culture of Safety.
Respectfully,
Erik Swanberg
